First I create an original design in the form of a large size acrylic painting. Then I transfer the design of this painting with acrylic paint onto a meshed canvas. Using a hook with a handle I fill in the empties on the meshed canvas with +/- 33.000 hand-cut and hand-knotted pieces of plastic/metallic ribbon.
I use strong color contrasts to create the strongest effects possible.
Each original art piece takes me about 4 to 6 months to finish. When the original piece is finished, it is professionally photographed.
Then the Art Work is ready for further use. The printing of prints, pillows, blankets, posters, gift cards, T-shirts and a million other things.
